Wow it's been so long since I last wrote anything here! Well Lots and lots have happened.
Basically: * I've got an awesome girlfriend called Amy. She really is awesome and funny and cute and yeah... I like her lots! * I've just finished uni (I hope - I just need to hope that my last assignment was good enough!) * I've got a job interview tomorrow with a big computer company. I really really hope I get it!
And because of that last point, I need to get some sleep! I'll be back here soon...ish!?
Happy Birthday me. I turn 21 today. Woo!

So I got a Wii. So cool. You must all get one. Been playing Wii Sports, Wii Play and Zelda alot. Much fun to be had. I'll upload some photos in a minute, so stay tuned...
This has to be one of the single most disturbing videos I've ever seen (and heard!). There should be a preview of it to the left of this text, but watch the full video. Your eyes and ears will surely bleed. Sorry in advance... http://youtube.com/watch?v=Op57DmvPTi0

Well well well. Here we are at another day. I hope you are well. I'm here at uni for a few hours and I have a lecture soon. Jarrod couldn't make it today so I'm all by myself. How sad. I think that this is becoming a blog post so I might stop. Or maybe not. I've got an essay due tomorrow that I haven't started. I really should do that. I hate essays. Well I'd like you all to visit my myspace page. How awesome. I think I went overboard with the links :/
Indeed, I dropped Artificial Intelligence. Does that actually make me smart? Who knows. It does make things less stressful, even though I have to come back next year. I'm ok with that now that I've thought about it. It also means that I can do the new subject called 'Game Design and Programming', and I can change my major to Multimedia and Game Development, which sounds better than a straight Computer Science.
Woo!
Well last week I wrote something, and this week I'll continue along those lines. I think I'll write about uni. Uni is crazy right now. I havn't got any mid semester exams - I've got assignments instead. And they're hard. I've got a prototype of our Major project due this week, and we still havn't worked out a pretty majorlly important part of it. We've only had all year :/ I've also got some crazy prolog assignment for Artificial Intelligence due this week. Prolog is a weird programming language. You have to see it to believe me. I'll show you all a sample program because I know you're all so interested. factorial(0,1).
factorial(N,F) :- N>0, N1 is N-1, factorial(N1,F1), F is N * F1.
That program finds the factorial of a number believe it or not.
Well I'm tired now. I need to sleep. Knowing me, I'll most likely stay up for another few hours because I'm crazy.
I had an idea that I should post here more often. It will probably be both beneficial to me and you. That is true. I'll try and be serious-ish. So we'll kick things off with a short update to what I'm up to right now. I'm in my last semester at uni. It's just starting to get stressful and crazy. I'm still pretty lazy. Um, I still haven't worked out all my lack of girlfriend troubles. I still havn't written/recorded songs that I want to. Church has had interesting developments. I think I shall tackle these important issues (and more!) in upcoming entries. So stay tuned...
So to honour the occasion of it being Thursday, I thought I might add this poll.

Exams are over. Woo is all I have to say. The next exciting step is to see if I passed. Lets hope everyone did. This place has been a little quiet lately but thats ok, I've been a bit busy and I havn't really had much to say. Well I have lots to say but you know how it is with stuff. It's boring you know... I know. I'm not really writing about anything really, but I think I'm postponing going to bed.
Hey I'm gonna find an exciting picture on my computer and add it to this post. That might spice things up a bit yeah? Oooh yeah, I found a good one. It makes me giggle when I look at it. I hope you all have the same reaction.
I think I'm going crazy again. Nope not today. Tonight. Tommorow? Try again.
Oh yeah, how do you all like the new look of the page. I think it's kinda rad (and also double-thumb dudicool if you get it(?)). I will have to edit it a bit to make it better, and maybe now that I have some time I should. Make. It Better. It is better already. Thats your new thought for the day.
Random stuff: Wine and cd dvd. Ubuntu for you. Seriously.
Is that all(?), because I think it might be. Please excuse me.

Well this entry will be about music. I am writing it because I 'lent' my music collection to my friend so he can 'preview' it. Since there is alot of music there, I thought I'd highlight my favourite albums. Note that I do like more than these listed... this is more of a guide of what people should listen to if the havn't heard of the bands. I'll include songs that are highlights too.
I also didn't include all the artist I listen too simply because it would take a long long time and I felt I'd list the ones I like most.
Here goes: Ali Whitton - Kisses - Curses Acoustic music that I quite like. Won these CD's in a competition.
ApoligetiX - Grace Period - Keep the Change Christian parodies of other songs. Quite cool.
Audioslave - Audioslave I like this album alot. There are alot of stand out tracks, so just get the album.
Bee Gees - One Night Only The Bee Gees are cool, and this album is worthy of a listen.
Ben Folds Five - Whatever And Amen There are other great BFF albums, but this is pretty much all I have. Lucky, because it's a good one.
Ben Lee - Awake is the New Sleep I havn't listened to all of his music, but this album is good. Also get Cigarettes Will Kill You and Something Borrowed, Something Blue.
Bernard Fanning - Tea & Sympathy A great album from the singer of Powderfinger
Blur - The Best Of Blur Have some cool songs, so I figure the best of is the way to go. Song 2 is great, and if you are curious, the video for Coffee and TV is just awesome (pity I don't have it)
Cake - Comfort Eagle A great album from a great band.
Coldplay - Parachutes - A Rush of Blood to the Head - X&Y They are all great albums
Damien Rice - O One of my favourite albums ever. A must have.
Days of the New - Orange Acoustic Rock sort of stuff. Has some really good songs. Touch, Peel And Stand, and The Down Town are highlights.
dc Talk - Jesus Freak - Intermission (Greatest Hits) - Welcome to the Freak Show Unfortunatly I'm missing a couple of their albums, but these ones here are just too good. Jesus Freak is one of my favourite albums.
Dream Theater - Images and Words - Awake - Falling into Infinity - Metropolis 2 - Scenes From A Memory - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence - Octavarium I am quite a big fan of Dream Theater. Alot of the albums are really different, and I could write a whole lot about them, but it would take too long. I started with Awake, then got Scenes from a Memory, Images and Words, 6OIT, Falling Into Infinity, Octavarium. FII and 6OIT are the albums that have weaker songs imo, but they are still pretty good, and FII has some great ones. M2: SFAM is just pure brilliance, I&W and Awake are more old school progressive metal, and Octavarium is the new one with the really long (but awesome) song on it.
Emmett Tinley - Attic Faith This is a really good album from the singer of The Prayer Boat. It's like acoustic/soft love songs.
Faith No More - Who Cares A Lot - Greatest Hits They have some really good songs, so the best of is probably the best place to start. Too many highlights to mention.
Foo Fighters - In Your Honour I have got their other albums, but I havn't listened to them enough to recommend more than just songs - get All My Life, Times Like These, Monkey Wrench, My Hero, and Learn To Fly. In Your Honour is a great album, but I really only listen to the second disc. It's acoustic and it's really good.
Gomez - Bring it On I like them, but I don't know the albums well. This one has some good songs on it. Whippin' Piccadilly and Get Myself Arrested are highlights.
Gorillaz - Gorillaz - Demon Days They are both good albums.
Jack Johnson - Brushfire Fairytales - On and On - In Between Dreams Each album has their great songs, and some that are a little boring. Listen to them all!
Jeff Buckley - Grace Now this is my favourite album of all time. It is just perfect. Make sure you get the 1st disc. The second one is just outtakes and stuff from the recording sessions that is more for fans. Sketches is also an awesome album, but it's harder to get into. Awesome songs that are not on Grace are Forget Her, Everybody Here Wants You, The Way Young Lovers Do (from Live at Sin-é - also my favourite live recording), The Sky is a Landfill, Nightmares by The Sea.
Jet - Get Born A good album
Keane - Hopes and Fears Sort of soft piano based music that is really good.
Lightly Salted Peanuts - Assorted Unfortunately I don't have their (only) album, but I have a few of their songs. They are good.
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory I like this album.
Live - Awake (The best Of) Live have some really good songs, so I like the best of. Lightning Crashes is their best song.
Marillion - Marbles (2CD version) - Brave - Misplaced Childhood I only heard of Marillion not too long ago, so although I've now got all their albums, I havn't listened throught them all yet. I heard Marbles first and it immediately it became one of my favourite albums of all time. I highly recommend it. It's sort of progressive rockish.
Metallica - Master Of Puppets - Black Old favourites. These are my favourite albums of theirs although the others are mostly good.
Muse - Origin Of Symmetry My favourite of their albums. new Born is an awesome song.
Nirvana - Nevermind If only for Smells like Teen Spirit this album is good. Other songs are good on it too like Come as you Are
oasis - (Whats The Story) Morning Glory A classic album. Listen to it all.
Other - Theres a whole heap of songs that are unsorted. Some are better than others, but it will take too much time to list them, so I guess you will have to use your imagination.
Pearl Jam - Rearviewmirror (Both Discs) Some really awesome songs on here. Ten is their best album, but I think all the best songs from it are on the best of, so its a good one to get.
Pete Murray - Feeler A few good songs on here.
Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon A classic that must be listened in whole and in sequence for it to be fully appreciated.
Powderfinger - Odyssey Number Five - Internationalist - I seem to be missing it :( - Vulture Street - I'm also missing it. Now powderfinger are an awesome band, and it's too hard to list all the best songs here.
Radiohead - Kid A I do like Radiohead, but I havn't listened to their albums enough to recommend albums. Kid A has some great songs. I also recommend the song Creep. Note that Radiohead is a band that alot of people like, but I havn't gotten that much into them :/
Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine Their debut and their best.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic - What Hits?! - Californication - By The Way I seem to be missing my RHCP music folder. Gah I hope it's not all lost. Anyways, apart from these awesome albums, you must get the following songs: Soul To Squeeze (My favourite RHCP song), My Friends and Love Rollercoaster.
Silverchair - Diorama - Freak Show - Neon Ballroom - Frogstomp Awesome music. Hard to list their best songs. The early ones are more rocky and raw, whereas Diorama is a masterpiece of orchestral something. It's good.
Smashing Pumpkins - Greatest Hits Another band where I like alot of their songs, so the best of is a good one to start with. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is also a great album, and an awesome song.
Sons Of Korah - Light Of Life - Redemption Songs - Resurrection - Shelter Awesome, awesome band. They sort of sing the psalms with awesome music.
The Prayer Boat - Polichinelle I really like these guys. I guess they are not for everyone, but they were underrated. They have since split up and the singer, Emmett Tinley has gone solo. My second favourite live song - It Hurts To Lose You from Other Voices is just awesome too.
The Presidents Of The United States Of America - TPOTUSOA - TPOTUSOA II Old school fun songs.
The Vines - Highly Evolved Some really good songs on this album.
The White Stripes - They are pretty cool, but I really only like a couple of their songs. Get Seven Nation Army, and My Doorbell.
Tom McRae - Tom Mcrae - Just Like Blood Another Irish singer that I really like.
U2 - The Joshua Tree - All That You Can't leave Behind Huge band U2 are. These are some good albums among alot of good ones.
So there it is... Just took me a few hours to do. I hope it's been interesting to read, and hopefully informative. If anything, I recommend you listen to the albums I put in italics.
Ooo, such a forboding subject to talk about! Wee the past is often shadowy. I know, because sometimes when I look behind me - effectively where I was in the past - there is my shadow. It's all shadowy. In actual fact, I thought I would play some music, and when it got to a song with an interesting name, I'd write about it.
Well, in case you havn't guessed it, the song is from the Lord Of the Rings soundtrack. It's really quite good, and if you imagine what a song would sound with the title of 'The Shadow Of The Past' then that is probably close to what I was just looking at.
Anyways, I know not many people read this, but I thought hey, why not write about stuff. Keeps me on my toes you see.
Happy Birthday to me Happy Birthday to me Happy Birthday Mr (i'm a man now you see) Joshuaaaaaa Happy Birthday to me!
Yep I'm 20 now. Ain't that exciting.
I am home from being on holidays and everything feels weird. My room is strange... somehow smaller and a little more boxy then I remember. My computer is weird. It sounds silent, and I have lost the ability to use a mouse properly although that skill is quickly coming back. My glasses feel weird - a little constricting, and my ears still havn't popped from being in the car for 5 or so hours.
All in all it was a good time away and I might write stuff sometime about all the adventures we had, or I might not!
Well, where to begin? This is like the beginning of something big (that being this entry), and I don't know where to begin. I guess Talking about the start of 2005 will do...
2005 started of with a sort of a whimper. I got home from work maybe around 9 or so. I forget. Anyways, I just watched the fireworks on TV at home with David because I had nowhere to go, and everyone else was out. January was an interesting month, with our holidays at Forster and David's 21st which was a kinda big occasion. It was also the month that Nay and I broke up. Kinda sad that, but it's all cool.
Next up was Feburary... well there are some photos of this month on this site, so you can check them out if you want. Matt was still here on holidays, and then he went, and it was also the month of my birthday. How exciting it must have been.
I don't really remember March. In fact I don't remember most of the months up until this one, so I don't know if this month method of writing is any good. Oh well, we'll soldier on. I guess I started uni back in this month. I think. Yeah so lets assume I did. This first semester wasn't that great. It started off quite slow, and I thought that it was alright, but then it went insano and I started disliking subjects and lecturers and all of the above. I ended up with 4 passes which I was happy with because I was close to failing some. I think the only reason I survived that semester was because of my friends at uni including Jarrod and Andrew but also others too.
Well since we (or just me really) are on the topic of Uni, then lets talk more about that. As I said semester 1 wasn't all that great, but it paved the way for less compulsory (ie, easier) subjects which I enjoyed much more. I quite enjoyed Design Fundamentals, and it earned me a distinction which I was happy with. I also liked 3D modeling (still doing it really because I've got 2 assignments I still have to do) and I think I'm going to get a credit or a distinction from it. I like that. Oh yeah... BUSS213: Multimedia in Organisations... that was an interesting subject. Pretty much only because of the material we covered and the lecturers. I think we were stuck in a time warp from 5-10 years ago with the stuff we were learning.
Hmm... so I've talked about uni. How exciting. I must tell you that right now I am feeling quite lethargic. I got up at midday, but have been tired all day, and now it's 2am exactly and I'm writing this. At least I'm allowed to sleep in tomorrow even though church is on. I guess I'm a rebel, but I'll go at night. In fact I'm in the band at chuch tommo tonight playing on my geetar. <-- sound that out and it sounds cooler than it looks.
Now thanks to the nice little segue (I had to look that word up for the right spelling) I shall talk about music. Well for starters, I bought myself a nice Acoustic-Electric guitar this year that I play quite a bit. It's got a nice sound and I like it. I've been trying to write song including some that are on this site, but alot more that haven't been finished or I want to record properly first. I also recently recorded my first song, which was a cover of Mad World which you can listen to on this site. I shall leave my resolutions/hopes for next year until later on but to give you a taste of what's to come, one of them will be to record some more (original) songs. I know you all think that is just awesome, and I don't blame you!
Hmm anyways, on to the month thing again. On July the 28th of 2005, I started this site. I got an email from my friend Sally saying that she had a site. Intrigued I checked it out, got a site of my own, and yeah well. This place ain't bad. Well at least its alot better than Myspace. If anyone here has a Myspace account and still uses it needs to look to a much better world. But this is not going to be a rant about Myspace. This is a rant about my year! So lets carry on shall we.
Hmm, lets talk about girls. What a nice subject, and the cause of much hurtness and depressionness. It's not all bad except not much good has happened to me on this front this year. I'm not complaining, but I guess it does get me down occasionally. It's been alright lately I guess. I find that I keep liking girls who are never going to be interested in me, or they are moving soon, or they are too young for me (not by heaps, just a bit - I'm not weird) or yeah I just freak them out in some way. Oh well, heres hoping that this year there will be a nice you lady out there who understand my random weirdness and my shyness and my tiredness and my nerdness and whatever else I've got going for me. I don't have my hair anymore which was supposed to be my 'chick magnet' apparently. I guess it didn't work :P
Moving on, I think I will talk about my hair. It certainly will be missed. I've got it safely stored in a bottle if anyone wants to see it. It was an interesting experience having it long and I felt quite female alot of the time - especially when I had it straightened. Did you know that I watched Fern Gully for the first time when I got it straightened. I bet you didn't know that. It wasn't a bad movie either, but I'm not sure if I would see it again soon.
Well moving right along... 2005 was the year that I entered another level of laziness. In the past few months my average start sleeping time has increased to about 3:30 am and waking up at around 12 or so. I've also been playing games (mostly Counterstrike: Source) online when I should be sleeping of doing work. I really gotta not do that as much. I also waste way too much time online on forums and just doing nothing.
I also worked alot at Domino's this last year. It has been pretty good there. At around the same time alot of the old managers left which was bad because for a while there it wasn't much fun. It got better slowly and now I quite enjoy being there. I get along pretty well with everyone even though I don't talk much. It was funny when I went in the other week with my haircut... People thought there was a new driver there and 2 of the managers were arguing about whether I looked like Jimoen or Rob Thomas. I think Jimoen won in the end which I'm happy about.
I just yawned, and it's now 2:39 am.
One highlight of 2005 was going to Blackstump. The music was awesome but the best bit was catching up with old friends like Gareth and Nick and of course Naomi. It was also good because of the chance to hang around the people from church a bit more. That's something I miss out on because I don't often get invited to things that are happening. Anyways, at Blackstump we wrote a song about Blackstump and we played it in the Pink Faces thing. I played guitar with Clay. I think we came third. An interesting time was had by all, and I think that everybody really hated the song by then end of it all.
Hmm what else... Oh year I bought myself a Nintendo DS. I've got Mario Kart and Advance Wars DS. I like it and I like the games, and I have fun playing them.
I think it's about time that I got to December. I remember this month pretty good because it wasn't that long ago. The first thing that happened was that Matt came down. It's been really cool with him here. The next thing that happened was Tim's 18th. We had a party
for him here that was quite the fun. We even went to the beach at 3 or so in the morning. After that I'm pretty sure Christmas came. This year was a fairly low key Christmas, but it was fun. I went to the Christmas eve midnight or so (it finished at midnight) service at the old Anglican church with my brothers which was nice. In the morning I went to chuch and then we came home and opened the presents. I don't get anything really big but I got some cool stuff. For example, some CD's and some books and some socks and some other cool stuff. I didn't mind what I got because Christmas is more about the giving. I bought all my brothers DVDs and other smaller stuff. I bought Dad a wireless keyboard and mouse setup which is pretty cool. I also bought Mum one of those cafe style sandwich toaster thingys. It is really cool. All in all, Christmas was pretty good.
I think that this leaves us with tonight! Awesome. This should be easier to remember. Well tonight I worked from 5:30 until about 9:30, and then I went over to David's friends house with him, Matt, and obviously his friends. Otherwise I would have been a loner and would have spent my new years at home. By myself. But I didn't! Yay. Well we played some games, and then we all had party crackers when the countdown counted down and then we cracked them when the countdown stopped. Much fun was to be had. Then we watched some TV and went home. I started writing this and here I am now. So that is my year in a nutshell (cue Austin Powers joke). It was alright I guess. I hope it didn't bore you and I'm glad that you read through it all (that is if you didn't skip through and just read this bit). I'm sure it could have been more exciting, but I'm way too tired to think straight right now.
But now the moment you've all been waiting for! My resolution things for 2006! I'm going to make a fancy list thing for this. It's going to astound you.
- Firstly, in the year 2000 of 6, I want to become less lazy. This means a few things:
- I shall start doing some form of exercise (play a sport or
running and doing weights). I am starting to put on weight which I'm
not happy about.
- I shall also spend less time on the computer and more time being more sociable.
- I will procrastinate less and actually do things when people
ask me to do them - and that includes getting uni assignments done
earlier
- I shall also try to find me a nice girlfriend. I know this isn't really a resolution, but I think if this happens then it will be a much better year.
- I shall play my guitar more with my newfound spare time (thanks to spending less time on the computer) and write some nice songs which I will record and people will like.
- I shall spend more time reading my Bible and getting closer to God. This is something I've been really slack with lately, and I don't like it. I also want to have a better prayer life and have a deeper relationship with God.
- I shall also spend more time with my friends and maybe even organise some stuff. That would be crazy!
- I shall become my open and tell people how I am feeling (not always, as it can sometimes have the opposite effect) and stop just being quiet and keeping things to me..
- I will be less shy, and take some risks and talk to people. I know that is crazy for me! It's funny, because if I am with people I know like my uni friends, I probably talk to much and annoy them, but if I'm at say Church, then I will hardly talk at all. Being shy is weird.
- I shall also clean up my room more often which will probably please Mum.
- I will keep in contact with old friends more often, most likely by email... so if you are reading this and you think that I'm slack and don't write to you very ofter, or at all, then you have a reason to get angry at me. Tell me and I shall want to talk to you. Having friends is nice.
- I shall also start being more independent - this means doing more washing and making more meals etc.
I think that is enough for now. There is only so much one person can achieve in one year. Now that I've spent about 2 hours writing this I think I will unleash it now on the public. The public being you btw. Feel free to comment etc. I like it when people comment on things as it makes me feel like it's been worth it writing so much. It also means that I get to talk to you which sort of fulfills number 9 of the above list.
Argh! I think thats it. Thank you for reading And have a great new year. I don't know how one can have a great new year as it can only be new for so long and then it stars becoming the year. Well then, I hope you all have a great year! I'm going to get a drink and then I'm going to go to bed. I won't be awake for the next while. But when I do wake up I will be awake and then when I read this I'm going to think that I am crazy... And I didn't drink tonight (do I really ever :/), I am just feeling very tired and weird.
Well have a good night and bye! I hope I see you soon! Josh.
PS, I also sent this out as an email to people who are not on this site, so a big Hi from me as I probably haven't talked to you for quite a while. I hope this actually gets to you.

Ok! Time for another installment of this exciting journal type thing. I know you are all pumped from reading the last one which managed a whopping 9 replies! Half of them were mine but not to worry. Oh, I didn't have anything witty or inventive to put as a subject so yeah. That will have to do. Now with those formalities out of the way, lets get on with it shall we... Well really I don't have much to say, but since I'm on holidays for the next 3 or so months I figure I might as well do something interesting... Like write in a blog type thing that nobody really reads! Excitement Plus Guaranteed!™ Well yeah you may have noticed that I finished uni for the year. I had my last exam today which went nicely. I've now got to occupy my time somehow. I think I will work on some songs... there are a couple that I'm working on that are becoming quite the treat! You should listen to them someday. Whenever that is. Oh and you may think that I'm in a pretty good mood... well I guess I am. The last couple of weeks I've been a bit down and out and all that. You know how it is. But as they say... I got up again, and yeah well. I dunno. Just check back in another few weeks/months or something and I'll probably be all depressed again. Thats life I guess. Thanks to Caroline for the encouraging email, if you are reading this btw. And yeah who really wants to read another emo/angsty/depressing blog type thing. There are enough of those around, so lets try and keep things at least moderately interesting here. I've been pretty lonely/bored/whatever lately. I think its because I havn't been doing anything other than work and church (no uni really - just exams and 'study'). I don't go anywhere. I'm tempted to jump on a train one day and go up to Sydney for the day just to do something. when I think about it, thats not really a bad idea. If anyone wants to come then just say. I must say thanks to Jarrod and Andrew for being the coolest uni buddies. Seriously they are cool! Uni wouldn't be anywhere as good if I didn't make such cool friends. Also thanks to Sally for reading this and posting comments and just being cool. Oh and sorry for the embarrassing comments on your site and um yeah we'll try that meet up again one time soon (hopefully with more actual meeting up this time hehe :P). Also thanks to Matt for being a cool brother You should all meet him one day because he is cool.. Hmm who else reads this... Well elizabeth did once apon a time, and she is cool cos she lives next door to me. Well, to anyone else who happens to stumbleupon this page I think you are pretty cool too. I think thats enough sentimental stuff/whatever for now! Hmm another topic... lets talk about my room! It is really messy. I have another computer on my floor that I'm supposed to be installing things on for an old lady at church. It's been there a little while and is seriously taking up half of my floor. I'm also supposed to keep my chunky guitar in here, but it doesn't really fit. Mum couldn't open the door this morning because there was a guitar case blocking the way. I should take a picture. Pictures are nice... But thats a little bit of a hassle don't you think. Jarrod has seen my room. He can probably vouch for me. Well then... I don't know why I write lots because not many people read this, but then again, if you read this then you are special ok! Just like Special K! I like Special K... It's not just a cereal for ladies. It is quite nice. I should add another recipe for it, but judging by the responses (or lack thereof) to my previous top-notch recipes I don't know if I'll bother. At least I know I'm a bloke hey! Maybe I should write about music. I like music. I listen to music alot. At the moment I'm listening to my favourite music. At the moment I am listening to Powderfinger's Already Gone. I think thats my favourite song of theirs. Before I was listening to some Jeff Buckley. That is always a good thing. He is my favourite musical artist did you know? I think I'll add to this paragraph when this song finishes and see what we have next. Ooh... Saved by The Prayer Boat. Now this is another of my favourite bands. They are from Ireland and well they don't exist anymore... But the lead singer has put out a solo record this year which is really good. You should check it out. You gotta order it online but it's ok, because thats what I did. Anyways, their/his music is like acoustic kinda but with the band. Emmett has a really good voice which can go pretty high and is really good. The songs are mostly sad love songs, but that's ok - they don't come across as being very emowhatever at all. Listening to that music often cheers me up when I'm feeling down surprisingly - it usually shows that I'm not the only one with these kind of problems. On the topic of music, I'm thinking of actually buying Guitar Pro. My brother Matt is the probably the only one who cares, but it is a really good program, and the next version which is out in the coming weeks will be even better. Instead of using midi for the guitars and drums, it will use real sounds (sound fonts maybe). This will make the music much more realistic sounding. I can't wait. It's about time I bought the program. You can't pirate all your life. Although pirates are pretty cool in a 'Yar! Me swashbucklers, scrub those decks or ye be walking the plank. Avast!' kind of a way. Pirates are cool, and they are a little bit cooler than ninjas but not by much. I should add those urls to more stuff. Jarrod Does that alot. Hmm this entry is getting kinda long. I don't know if anyone could be bothered getting through it all, but if you have then congrats! You deserve a medal. If you post a reply then I will award you with one. How's that sound? Ooo oo... My one of two favourite live songs just came on... Jeff Buckley's version of 'The Way You Lovers Do' on the 'Live at Sin-é' cd set.. So good... Just excuse me for the next 9 minutes would you please while I listen :) Man!! Such perfection! Everybody should listen to that song, it is just too good. I think the do ba de bop and the almost screaming type vocals might put some people off, but you gotta feel how much emotion and energy is put into the song. So cool. I think I'm starting to ramble on a bit.. oh well. On another note, my heart is feeling funny. Like I have a stitch maybe. But I've only been sitting here for the past hour or so writing this. It might be heartburn or whatever, I don't know. It usually goes away soon and now seems to be one of those times. Bah! I think this is getting too long I might have to start giving out 2 medals for people who get this far. That's going to set me back a little bit. I do have some money saved up for this occasion. I don't really need most of it so if anyone is in need of some then just ask! Hmm maybe I should just post this now. I'll add a stripped down version of the morphing video thingy I did for Tim for those who may have missed it. Sorry about the really bad quality. Have a good day/night (it happens to be 2am here :P) everyone and god bless! edit: Argh... that picture looks really really bad in the preview thing. Just let me fix that! ... FIXED!

Well I don't know what to write here but I figure I should give the
site an update since it is all looking a bit plain. So yes I had an
enjoyable day today. I went to uni in the morning and then came home. I
havn't done any work which is bad. Oh wells.
So after much pressure from Sally I've uploaded some photos. I was getting very scared, I think she was going to hurt me soon! So I bowed into the pressure and decided to get off my lazy butt and upload the pics. There are more coming btw, but I thought I could do with some sleep. It's almost 1:30am now and I gotta get up early for church tomorrow.
